This could be a great way to communicate with students. My only question is the possible risk of students being able to figure out how to change passwords and such for logins teachers create and give to them for blogs and sites such as this and edmondo and etc..

Week 2 Thing 3
This is kind of interesting. It just goes to show yet another way that could be used to communicate with students and parents. Other than having to narrow down a blog url, it was fairly easy to do.
